Hello!
First, I have some great news to share...
Hole Punch Cocktail has officially reached 5,000 wishlists!
Thank you so much for all your support!
I will continue to give my all to the development of the game.
As my next milestone is releasing a playable demo,
I have started focusing on game stability—an area that previously had a lower priority.
This includes addressing issues like clipping through terrain, unstable movement, and various minor bugs.
Notably, there was a critical bug involving the Clipboard Enemy's knockback attack.
If you were hit while against a wall, there was a 99.9% chance of being launched completely out of the map.
This has now been fixed, though it took significantly more effort than I initially anticipated.
I also spent time polishing the UI.
The styles of temporary UI elements that were merely placed as placeholders have been unified,
and visual animations were added to make important in-game information updates clearly noticeable.
Aside from these, many other undocumented adjustments have been made.
From tweaking enemy death animation logic to improving projectile visibility,
I am working through a long list of minor details that collectively make a massive difference in the overall gameplay experience.
Lastly, I would like to introduce the second weapon, the [QWERTY-9].
This is a versatile weapon that performs well at both High-Alcohol and Low-Alcohol levels.
While it does require reloading, you can trigger a [Quick Reload] by pressing the secondary fire button.
However, please note that Fast Reload consumes extra ammunition, so use it wisely.
Thank you for your interest, and I look forward to sharing more updates soon.
