Hello everyone!
It’s been a little while since the last update, so I wanted to share what I’ve been building behind the scenes. The desert biome is finally reaching a point where its core features are in place, and I’m excited to show off some of the new mechanics and tools that come with it.
This biome introduces a handful of new reagents for gathering, each tied to the harsh conditions and unique flora of the region. Hidden deep within the cave system is an environmental puzzle that requires clever use of the new tools to solve. Completing it rewards you with a powerful magical artifact that unlocks new avenues of gameplay and exploration.
Giant’s Gloves
A heavy‑duty pair of enchanted gloves designed for interacting with oversized objects scattered throughout the desert. These let you move boulders, lift ancient mechanisms, and access areas that were previously unreachable.
Repel Rope
A specialized rope infused with repelling magic. It allows you to quickly escape to the entrance of any cave system you are in.
I’m really happy with how the desert biome is shaping up — it’s been a fun challenge to design something that feels slightly dangerous, mysterious, and rewarding all at once. If you’d like to see more updates like this, or if you have ideas for future tools, puzzles, or biomes, feel free to make a post and share your thoughts. Your feedback helps shape the world.
