The Choppy Waters Demo is officially live on Steam! You can jump in right now and start building your own bizarre, powerful, and occasionally questionable sushi deck!

What’s in the Demo?

  • Play through the game’s first region, complete with branching paths and encounters

  • Face off against two possible zone bosses

  • Choose from multiple starter decks, with additional options unlockable through play

  • Craft your own sushi cards using a variety of ingredients

  • Discover a selection of items, bobbles, and events that shape each run

  • Unlock new content as you play and experiment with different strategies

Why is the Demo so damn big?

Thank you for asking! The current version of the demo is pretty hefty. You should be able to spend multiple hours slinging sushi if you are so inclined. Of course, the full release will include MUCH MORE! But If I'm being completely honest, the demo might be a little TOO big at the moment... Oh well! Consider it a gift from me to you for supporting the game by playing <3

If you enjoy the demo, consider adding Choppy Waters to your wishlist. It makes a big difference, and signals to me that people would like to see more content added to the game. Feedback is also extremely valuable and appreciated, if you have any thoughts after playing, let me know! Maybe consider leaving a review on the Demo page, I will, of course, read all of them!

Thank you so much, and good luck out there!
