It will come as no surprise that Marden has forgotten she is meant to be bringing the timber bank cart closer to the Carpenter's Workshop. The cart is too heavy for a human to move, so Yulo has lent her Oxtavius, his ox, to help with the task. Unfortunately for Marden, the stubborn animal refuses to move until he is fed his favorite treat, chopped apple.
At each milestone of Chef, starting at milestone 1, you can chop an apple from that same milestone and feed it to Oxtavius. With each new kind of apple, Oxtavius will move the timber bank cart closer to the Carpenter's Workshop. To be able to feed Oxtavius, you must first complete the Forgotten Things quest, so that Yulo will remember to bring him back to Timberwell Green.
Quality of life improvements
• The map will now show brambles that block your path because you are not a high enough level Woodcutter to cut through them.
Bug Fixes
• Fix a bug with Himatik Treasure, where it was possible to get the flame shooters stuck in a position which left the quest impossible to complete.
• Add missing chat to Sergeant Fowler at the Waterfront Market if you have not purchased a pair of handcuffs before meeting her.
• Fix a bug with one of the trout coop fishing spots, which caused one of the involved players to float in the air.
• Fix various typos.
Update on combat improvements
We have delayed the launch of the first combat update by two weeks. This is because it now has a more substantial set of improvements than originally planned.
We can reveal that this first combat update will include the following improvements:
• You move faster when in a combat stance.
• You no longer regenerate all your health automatically at the end of a combat duel.
• Your maximum health has been increased, so a combat duel with a foe at your level no longer costs almost all your health.
• Food can be eaten outside of a combat duel to heal.
• Healing potions can be used to heal both outside and inside a combat duel.
• A new fish and chip shop has opened in Hopeport, so you don't have to level up Chef to enjoy combat, although it will be more efficient if you do.
• The max hit equation has been adjusted to no longer depend on the strength of your opponent, so it doesn't weirdly go down when fighting weak opponents.
• Strength potions are charge-based instead of expiring at the end of the combat duel, and can be drunk both outside and inside a combat duel.
• Combat foes only despawn for the player who defeated them, similar to how fishing currently works.
Remember, this is only the first combat update. We will continue to make further adjustments in response to player feedback, and we already have many more improvements planned.
