The Achievements Are Here
(beta first, then full release)
First off, I'm increasing the game version to 1.4 (b.1194). Why? Because this build introduces the very first batch of Steam Achievements!
For the first few days, achievements will be available only on the public beta branch so that I can test them a little more and maybe have a bit of feedback before releasing them to everybody.
To join the public beta:
- Right-click on Barrage in your Steam library
- Select "Properties…"
- Open the "Betas" tab
- Choose public beta from the drop-down menu
As always, if you run into bugs, crashes, or other issues, please report them here on Steam or email "[email protected]". If possible, attach a zip of your game files that you can find at the following paths (note: some folders are hidden by default):
Windows: Users\<userProfile>\AppData\LocalLow\Cranio Creations\Barrage
MacOS: ~/Library/Application Support/Cranio Creations/Barrage
Once I feel confident no major game-breaking bugs are present, the build will move to the main branch—just in time for you to enjoy it over the holidays.
The majority of the achievements introduced are for the base game and as such, can be unlocked only by playing basic games (no promo XOs or DLC components).
Ideally, I'll add more achievements in the future, specifically designed for the DLC(s).

Good news: les jeux sont faits! I’ve been given the all-clear to generate the Steam keys. This will take a few days so keep an eye on your email inbox.
The Nile Affair
I've started working on the Nile Affair DLC and I'm aiming for a February release. As usual, I'll keep you posted on the development progress.
A Year-End Thank You
This should be my last post of the year, so let me take a moment to thank all of you. To everyone who bought and supported the game (and the DLC), to those who left positive reviews that boosted our chances of success, and to those who shared feedback, reported bugs, and helped right the wrongs—your patience, support, and enthusiasm are invaluable.
