Global Protocol: New World Order Playtest · published · build 23334138
This massive update delivers a complete reconstruction of our Tutorial & Onboarding flow, introduces automated Strategic Reserve Auto-Buying, streamlines the UI Tab Architecture, adds highly immersive Country-Flavored Technology Names, and implements a full K/M/B/T Suffix Localization system supporting 12 unique locales.
🧭 Tutorial & Onboarding Overhaul
We’ve carefully reviewed community feedback to reconstruct our guidance systems:
Natural Flow Direction: Re-ordered learning stages into a cleaner, logical left-to-right layout to match modern desktop design standards.
Instructional Alert Bar: Added a dedicated alert bar to ensure players are never left guessing what step is active.
Onboarding Spotlights & Pulses: Restructured highlighting logic to solve missing step pulse behaviors, corrected speed controls spotlight targets, and restored the missing Recruitment tab highlight in Stage 3.
🏛️ Reserve Automation & Detailed Ledger Tracking
Take command of your nation's wealth with powerful new automation features:
Strategic Reserve Auto-Buy: Set up custom auto-buy rules to automatically secure vital reserves on the spot market, helping you survive embargoes or sudden demand spikes.
Resource Income Column: A brand-new ledger column tracks and displays your exact per-tick net resource income directly in the main economy interfaces.
Economy Deep-Linking: Jump instantly to related sub-menus with dynamic links built directly into economic notifications.
🔠 Global Suffix Localization (12 Languages)
We’ve fully localized the number formatting suffixes (K / M / B / T) globally:
Custom Turkish Billion Scale: Corrected Turkish number formatting to use the culturally accurate My (Milyar) abbreviation instead of standard western notation.
Long-Scale Language Adjustments: Tailored the unit abbreviations for long-scale languages (German, French, Spanish, Portuguese) to prevent UI truncation and grammatical errors.
Sanctions Translation Sync: Synchronized all sanction details and labels across 10 supplemental languages.
🧩 Layout Merges & UX Polish
Tab Consolidation (Intel & Specialists): We have merged the Specialists tab directly into the Intel sub-panel, reducing top-level tab clutter and making agent management far more intuitive.
Immersion Booster (Country-Flavored Techs): Technologies now dynamically display country-flavored local names depending on your selected nation (e.g. customized industrial and automotive names for Turkey and other prominent states).
Tooltip & Window Persistence: Resolved persistence bugs where tooltips would float on the screen during fast menu transitions, and fixed visual glitches in the province placement state.
Bigger Action Buttons: Increased the visual size of quick build buttons and icons for easier click precision.
⚡ Critical Stability
Annexation Crash Fix: Patched a severe memory crash triggered when armies attempted to calculate pathing movements across newly annexed sovereign territory.
AI Decision Log Stability: Ensured internal AI logs correctly initialize their directories on disk before attempting critical decision-path writes, resolving silent administration errors.
