WARSHIFT 2 features two epic story-driven campaigns for the Cyber Legion and the Alien Enclaves, with dozens of missions, including tutorials and even some live-action cutscenes (no AI).
The campaign story centers around a brutal conflict between Earth corporations and alien forces fighting for control over the resources of disputed colonial worlds and ancient artifacts that could unlock the creation of hyperspace jump gates. Human corporations seek to secure their distant mining colonies by launching a decisive strike into the heart of the alien civilization, while the Aliens are willing to do anything to isolate their world from the invaders from Earth and reclaim the planets they consider their own. The outcome of this war between worlds will depend on the skill and strategy of Commanders on both sides of the battlefield!
