While we are continuing to update the game as always, Salt 2 is now no longer in Early Access.

When we entered EA over three years ago, the game was a shell of what it has become today. We want to thank all of you who joined us in this phase as it would not have been possible without your support and continual feedback. As a tiny indie team, your help was absolutely necessary to both find issues and prioritize direction for the world of Salt 2.

Throughout Early Access, you have helped us greatly expand the world with content and new features such as cooperative multiplayer, side quests and a main quest line, new ships and ship decorations, items, island types, underwater areas, and so much more. Not to mention a ton of bug fixes and polish.

There is of course still more content and improvements to do, so there will be more of this in updates as we continue development.

As part of this transition, we are also releasing an update, the details of which you can find in this announcement.

We look forward to continuing our journey with you all.

Happy Sailing!
