We're back with another update :) Two new spells and global Mortis Mastery Level ranking!
A crimson lance hurled at the nearest enemy. Instead of firing volleys like Bone Spear, it pierces straight through targets - the more you upgrade it, the deeper it drills through hordes.

7 synergies across Blood Magic, Soul Magic and Curses
Bone Armor synergy - each active orb grants an extra level of pierce
A heavy blood clot hurled slowly at a random enemy. On impact it bursts like living tissue, spawning smaller bolts that fly out to other enemies nearby - a true clot cascade. Works on walls too - crashing into the environment still detonates the burst.
Base 5 child bolts per burst (upgradeable to 7+)
Shatter effect on impact - same sprite fragmentation used by dying enemies
Animated pulsing projectiles with blood drip trail and 3 dedicated sound effects
Bone Armor synergy adds extra child bolts
Elemental synergies (Soul Burn / Hemorrhage / Weaken / Slow / Terror / Confusion) add +1 child bolt each and apply their status on hit
The random spell pool has been expanded to 9 - Blood Lance and Hemobolt are now possible rolls from the start.
A global Mortis Mastery Level ranking powered by Steam Leaderboards is now live.
New "Leaderboards" screen accessible from the Character Hub (4th button next to Achievements)
Three tabs: Global Top 50, Around You (+/- 12 positions), Friends
Displays Steam player names and avatars
Your row highlighted in orange with your nickname
Score automatically synced to Steam when purchasing a Mortis Mastery Level
Existing Mortis Level uploaded to the leaderboard on game start for players who played before the ranking was added
Your global rank displayed in the Paragon Menu header ("Global Rank: #X")
Fully localized across all 28 supported languages
