Let’s Talk About Harvest Scream

What Is Harvest Scream About?

Harvest Scream is a psychological horror experience where you constantly question the nature of reality.
Are you truly living your life, or are you simply part of a simulation?

While working to repay your debt to the system through farming, you will encounter strange anomalies that must be corrected. As you dig deeper, you uncover hidden truths and begin to explore what lies outside the boundaries of the simulation.
The game blends atmosphere, mystery, farming, and psychological horror into a unique experience.

About the Demo

The demo included only a very small part of the story, intentionally. I wanted to avoid revealing too much.
In the Early Access version and later updates, the narrative is presented in a much more detailed and complete form.

I have also made improvements to difficulty, pacing, and overall balance. Thanks to these updates, I believe the game feels significantly better and more engaging now.

When Will the Game Be Released?

The main development is finished. However, I want to take more time to refine the game by fixing bugs, improving performance, and adding small enjoyable details.

Because of this, the planned release window is Q1 2026.
As the release gets closer, I will share the exact date on my social media accounts and here on Steam.

Who Am I, and How Long Have I Been Developing This Game?

This is my first game.
I started learning game development through this very project two years ago.

In many ways, I see myself reflected in the character of the game. Life was moving quickly, and I realized that I had been postponing my dreams for far too long. Game development had always been something I wanted to pursue, but I never had the time or opportunity to fully commit to it.

Two years ago, I decided to change that. I quit my job and chose to follow my passion.
It was not an easy decision, and the journey has been full of challenges, but chasing a dream is the strongest motivation I have ever felt.

Since then, I have been working on the game for hours every day. This is not a job for me. It is a passion! I know I still have much to learn, but I improve every day, and I truly hope you will love the game when it launches.

Early Access or Full Release?

The game will first launch as Early Access, with a nice discount.
Since I am developing this game alone, I did not have enough time for large-scale testing.

During the first three to four months of Early Access, I plan to focus on:

  • Bug fixes

  • Performance optimization

  • A few small content additions

  • General refinements

After this period, the full release will follow.

Can We Name the Cat?

Yes. You will be able to name the cat.

How Can I Support the Game?

Playing the game and recommending it to your friends is already wonderful support! You can also follow my social media accounts or join the Discord server if you want to stay updated or be a part of the community.
