Greetings, Guildies!

In our last spotlight, we introduced you to your first two guildmates: the stalwart Luceit and the keen-eyed Aska.

While those two form the foundation of your initial quest, your guild will grow far beyond its first initiates. In Guild Saga: Vanished Worlds, a true leader knows that victory lies not just in strength, but in synergy. Every new ally you recruit is a new strategic possibility.

Your party is your creation: you have full control to fully customize every companion's equipment and abilities to form the tactical synergies you find best. Today, we're looking at two companions you may find in the world who bring powerful, and dangerous, new options to your party: Leora and Persephone.

Leora and Bonito

Every party needs its wild card, a survivor who has stared into the maelstrom and refused to blink.

Leora was found on the southern coast near Gladeheim, soaked, bruised, and with no memory of her past. She recalls only fragments of the storm that wrecked her ship—the rush of water, the sound of splintered wood. Her old life was washed away by the tide, leaving only a roguish charm, a survivor's wit, and a thousand questions.

She is not entirely alone. With her is Bonito, a small furred creature she rescued and who has not left her side since. This connection to the sea is profound; in combat, Leora moves with the fluid grace of the ocean, wielding the chaotic power of a hydromancer with the dexterity of a rogue. She joins the quest not for glory, but for answers, driven to find the truth of the past the sea stole from her.

Persephone, Daughter of General Zillfred

Behind the calm exterior lies a mind built for war and a grudge that never forgets.

Persephone was raised for a life of duty. As the daughter of General Zillfred of the Royal Mazan Navy, she was trained as a naval siege engineer, mastering logistics, tactical systems, and the destructive beauty of explosives. But her true fascination lay hidden in restricted tomes, books of rites, bloodlines, and forbidden channels of power.

That fascination became her downfall. While undercover in a smuggling ring on Respite Island, she was captured by the Azure Company’s lead physician, Dr. Moreau, and held underground. What happened in those dark cells changed her. Something took root. The disciplined engineer who emerged is now also a vessel of the very corruption plaguing the isle, a darkness she wields as a weapon. She is precise, dangerous, and driven by a cold, burning need for revenge.

What's Next on the Horizon?

Development is moving at a fantastic pace, and we're currently putting together a full development roadmap that we'll share with you soon, laying out the complete path to our 1.0 launch.

We’ve been thrilled to see your reactions to the v0.6: Curses & Courtiers & Controllers update! While we don't want to spoil too much, our plan is to deliver one more major content update before we focus entirely on the final push for our 1.0 release in 2026.

As for what that update contains... let's just say we hope you're prepared to meddle with things best left undisturbed. You may just get the chance to pull at the very threads of time, journey into the past to meet the ancient elves who first inhabited Respite Island, and seek a powerful relic from the goddess Undine herself, it is the only thing that might allow you to face the raging maelstrom at sea... and finally sail your ship toward the Shadow Isles.
