It’s that wonderful time of year again, where we get to show some love to our favourite games in the Steam Awards! While Two Point Museum is packed with silly humour and the thrill of discovery, we truly think it shines when it comes down to cozy creative vibes, which is why we’d be ecstatic if you could nominate us in the “Sit Back And Relax” category.
In Two Point Museum, you’ve an entire tool belt full of customisation options, whether that’s changing your museum’s floors and walls (for free, we might add!) or colour-matching every item to have ‘branding on point’ across your museum’s theme.
There’s something incredibly calming about laying out a new museum wing, carefully positioning every prehistoric fern, potentially melting iceman, and dinosaur bones wherever you see fit.
”Management simulator” is a scary sounding genre, and so we strive to be an accessible entry into the world of strategy, simulation and management. Our tutorialisation eases you into curating your own chaos, with each new museum location, and star, bringing fresh challenges in your curation journey.
Each new act presents fresh challenges, but they’re introduced in a way that feels manageable and never overwhelming. As you unlock new tools to keep staff happy, and your exhibits safe, you watch your museum grow from a dusty hall, to a bustling hub full of Pointians, it’s very satisfying, don’t you think?
It wouldn’t be a Two Point game without our signature Two Point Radio, complete with it’s weird and wonderful ensemble of DJs, bringing you only the finest segments (and sometimes rants) between the wonderfully whimsical soundtrack that provides the perfect backdrop to your museum-building endeavours.
Coupled with the vibrant, cartoon art style of Two Point Museum, when coupled with a cup of tea, creates the perfect cozy night-in. Of course, we have to keep you on your toes with our in-game tannoy, who’s sarc-y humour gives you (mostly) useful reminders, contributing to the overall ✨aesthetic✨ of the game which we all know and love.
