Hello fellow dino lovers and cleaning fanatics!
First off I really want to thank everyone who wishlisted, shared, or otherwise supported Dino Cleanup in any way so far, your support means the world to me. At this point, Dino Cleanup is at just over 300 wishlists! That’s more people than I know so this feels like a big milestone for me already, thanks again!
I’ve been hard at work on Dino Cleanup, quietly tinkering away, and I thought it would be a good time to show some of the things I’ve been cooking up!
I’ve been very fortunate to have the assistance of an amazing 3D artist to help make more assets that really pretty up the game. I recently completed a spooky graveyard level, here's some sneak peek shots:
A spooky little spot to start the level off. You might notice the lower camera angle. I've updated the camera for the game to be closer to the main character so you feel part of the world better. I'll be updating screenshots for the store page sometime soon to reflect this change. I think it looks a lot better, don't you?
You can smash pumpkins with the vacuum blast!
There's goop enemies that have possessed the skulls in the graveyards!
There are graves with glowing acorns that you need to pull the skulls into to clear the level.
And enjoy the moon view with a new character, Stego the stegosaurus ghost. For the game, I'm going for a late-Cretaceous-ish setting, so stegosaurus was long extinct by that time, hence why they're a ghost :(
I've been spending a lot of time playing around with new mechanics for Dino Cleanup, and while this is always an iterative process, I have a clear set of levels to put my head down and get working on. I’m really excited to show all of these cool ideas off soon, please follow along for updates!
Thanks again for your support so far, if you like what you see, let me know! It gives me the strength to keep working! Anyway, back to development for me!
