Demo Hotfix: 0.2.3

I've been getting some reports of the game crashing on Windows machines, especially when alt+tabbing. I've just pushed a change that should fix that! If you encountered the issue before I'd love to hear if this version makes the game more stable.

If you're curious about the issue, it turns out the version of Unity I'm using (6.3LTS) has some instability issues with its DX12 implementation, especially on older hardware. Unity is supposed to fallback to DX11 if DX12 isn't supported, but it appears that there's a common bug where Unity games will just crash instead of falling back. For now, I've just removed DX12 support since the game has such a lowpoly retro aesthetic. DX11 is well supported across a lot of different hardware, so this should remove the crashing. Let me know if you still encounter crashing issues on version 0.2.3 or above!

Thanks for your constant feedback, I really appreciate it!

Until next time,

-

Game update30 Sep 2026Demo Hotfix: 0.2.2This hotfix makes a slight tweak to how the hover overdrive functions, it's a little tricky to explain, but the goal is to make it feel a little more intuitive. Essentially, if you hit the overdrive button mid-air, you will start hovering, regardless of whether you are holding the jump button . If that doesn't make sense, I'll try my best to explain the change in more detail below. You can use…Game update29 Sep 2026Demo Hotfix: 0.2.1Hey there dino friends!
