Hello Slingerz! We are happy to announce that the beta test for Spell Code SlingerZ is now open and free to play for all! It will be open for an indeterminate amount of time, but we will be sure to make an announcement before it closes!
Here's what you can except:
4 Developer Collectives catered to different play styles
24 unique Spellcodes, 6 for each collective
15 unique arenas to beat up your friends in
A rogue-like progression for each game played, where after each round players will choose 1 new Spellcode from up to 9 different ones to add to their arsenal
2-player online multiplayer (we are working on getting 4-player functional)
4-player local multiplayer
Full Controller support
We have temporarily tagged the game as controller only, as we do not have in-game glyphs to support keyboard onboarding. HOWEVER, If you find yourself wanting to play on keyboard, you can you WASD to move around, 'R' to attack/enter Spellcoding state, and 'T' to jump.
So grab some friends (or a friend), hop in game, beat them up, build a unique kit, and beat them up again!
If you find yourself liking the demo, please wishlist the game on steam! Have feedback? Join the community discord! Like what you're seeing? Follow our other socials and keep up with us! Links for everything can be find right below! Thank you!
