Have you heard of TRUClips? Of course not, we just made it up. Starting today, you can upload short form media (shorts) to a platform of your choice for a chance to win prizes in-game. No, you may not exchange the prize for cash.
Create your most entertaining video in short form and submit it via the form at the bottom. Please read through the rules. We will enforce them.
The competition ends at 21:59 UTC, 30th April. Winners will be announced on Stream Wednesday 6th May. Please make sure when you submit the video, you enter the correct in-game name. 50 winners in total will be chosen.
The video must qualify as a short. You may upload it to any hosting site as long as the public has access to it.
The video must be created and uploaded after the start of the competition - previously uploaded/published videos will not be considered. You may use older footage.
The video must be made from in-game footage. AI entries will be disqualified instantly, no matter how amusing they are.
Videos must have a minimum of 500 views, meaning the players get the first round of voting. Total viewcount, likes or any other metrics will not count to our final decision regarding winners. You are free to post the videos on any social media to gather views. The official Discord will have a channel dedicated to the competition if you want to use it. You can change your submitted video with the form, but you may also wait and pick a submission later from among your videos. The end date will not change.
Judges will include members of the community, however the final decision will be made by us.
Official Content Creators may enter, but will be judged in a separate category.
Any repeat of this or similar community competitions is contingent upon good behaviour. Attempts to use this to spread NSFW content, hate speech or anything unrelated to the game will not be well received by us.
