As we face the reality of our dwindling playerbase, continuing active support is simply no longer financially sustainable. The game is set to shut down on November 11th, 2026.
When we started developing Classic, we never dreamed it would reach the level of success that it did. Back then, we were a small team, many of us fresh out of college, working on our first game. Working in such an experimental way was something special.
Before we close the door on this chapter, we would like to celebrate one last Halloween with you with the traditional Classic werewolf event from October 28th to November 11th, 2026.
Thank you for being a part of this journey and sticking around with us for all these years, many of you for a huge chunk of your lives. We do not take that for granted.

Q1: What do you mean when you say you're "shutting down" theHunter Classic?
This means we will no longer make content, patches, or updates for the game, and that the game will be removed from storefronts on November 11th, 2026. Additionally, you will no longer be able to purchase any new in-game currency from storefronts from July 9th, 2026. However, you can use your current in-game currency until November 11th, 2026. After this date, the servers will go offline, and the game will no longer be playable.
Q2: Why are you removing the game from store pages completely?
With the decision to sunset theHunter Classic, we cannot continue selling the title on storefronts. We will remove the game from store pages to avoid any future confusion regarding the status of the game.
Q3: Will you add an offline option so I can keep playing after the servers go offline? Unfortunately, due to the online nature of the game and how its core systems were built, it isn't possible to make theHunter Classic playable offline.
Q4: What will happen to my save files and progress?
You can continue playing as normal, with progress intact, until the servers shut down. After that point, the game will no longer be playable.
Q5: Can I get a refund for my in-game currency or recent in-game purchases?
In-game currency and other in-game content are non-refundable. However, you can still purchase items with your existing currency until the game shuts down.
Q6: Will there be any farewell events or community activities?
Yes! To celebrate this incredible 17-year journey, we will host one last Halloween Event from October 28th to November 11th as a final send-off before the doors close.
Q7: What happens to the community channels?
Our official community channels (including forums and dedicated Discord/social spaces) will be closed down alongside the game's sunset on November 11.
Q8: Will you provide customer support if I have issues with the game post-removal?
Yes, we will provide customer support until the end of 2026.
Q9: Is there any chance the game will return in the future?
We have no plans to resume development of theHunter Classic or relaunch the game on any platforms in the future.
