Update v1.1.0 is officially live! In this patch, we have completely overhauled the new player experience. We know that dropping into the unforgiving world of the Metropolis can be daunting, so we've added a brand-new, interactive onboarding system to get you up to speed on the grid before you wager your hard-earned gear.
Here is everything included in today's update:
🌟 MAJOR FEATURES
New Interactive Tutorial: The Simulation
Added a fully integrated, diegetic tutorial accessible directly from the Main Start Menu.
Instead of a static wall of text, players will now receive a "secure connection" from a street Fixer. This interactive chat sequence breaks down the core mechanics of the game natively within the game's lore.
Dynamic Visualizers: As the Fixer explains different mechanics, the right-side panel dynamically updates to show visual examples of:
The Stack: A visual breakdown of how Reaction cards (like Flashbang) cancel enemy Initiative strikes.
Hustler Diagnostics: An overview of your stats (NCU, TOU, STR, AGI) and how they dictate your energy and survival.
Tradeskills: An explanation of the city's crafting and gear-upgrade loop.
The Ante System: A breakdown of the high-risk, high-reward wagering mechanic.
🎨 UI & UX IMPROVEMENTS
Main Menu Polish: Added a dedicated "TUTORIAL" button to the Main Menu. The button features a custom cyan "bloom" and pulsing animation to easily guide new players toward the onboarding experience before they start their first run.
