Survivor Rework - Development Update #1

Survivor · published 26 Apr 2026, 01:23 UTC

All newsPlayers around this dateRead on Steam

It has now been two weeks since I announced that development on Survivor would resume alongside the release of the upcoming rework.

Since then, development has been progressing steadily. Most of the major systems for the rework are now either already in place or close to development completion. This includes the core gameplay structure needed to support the new version of Survivor as a more focused singleplayer wave-based zombie survival FPS.

The purpose of this rework is to create a stronger foundation for the game going forward. By focusing on singleplayer, development becomes more manageable and allows new content, features, weapons, enemies, and gameplay improvements to be added more consistently.

At this stage, the current estimated release window for the Survivor rework is 4 to 8 weeks from now.

This estimate may still change depending on testing, bug fixing, balancing, and final polish, but the project is now moving toward a playable release. I will continue sharing updates as development progresses.

I will return with the next development update in another 2 weeks from now.

Thank you for your patience and support.
