Tech Update - Out Now!

Survivors,

the Tech Update is finally here! Alongside the start of the Steam Winter Sale, this update introduces a wide range of new technology, gameplay improvements, and new locations to explore. It’s been exciting to bring these additions to life, and I can’t wait to see how you’ll use them in your adventures.

Below you’ll find the full list of changes and additions included in this update.

Update to v0.9.0:

• Added ability to switch the ship's electric motor in reverse
• Lightning strikes now light up the surrounding clouds
• Sound is now slightly damped when inside a player built building
• Improved graphical appearance of rocks and boulders
• Bows will now automatically reload when equipped and an arrow gets picked up or is built (if there was previously none available in the inventory)
• Adjusted all stick building collisions
• Adjusted multiple item origin locations
• Adjusted FSR settings (for improved performance)
• Moved the torch building into the furniture category (previous under stick walls)
• Slightly raised the mast of the raft
• Adjusted the mesh of the wreck where the power bypass unit must be placed (to be more visible)
• Adjusted the description of the power bypass unit to be clearer
• Adjusted the rocks on the side of the start wreck so that the upper floor is accessible without the need to build something
• Iron ore deposits will now slowly respawn over time
• Quartz deposits will now slowly respawn over time
• Fixed wire snapping locations on slanted connectors
• Fixed wire snapping locations on slanted switches
• Added translation of the player's watch interface
• Fixed multiple translations
• Fixed multiple spelling mistakes
• Adjusted some tutorial steps to be more clear
• Fixed a problem where the co-op start screen was sometimes not interactable
• Saving a game will now also create a backup of the previous save before overwriting
