Hello, everyone! This is the ZOMVIRUS team.
It’s been a while since we last reached out!
During the Early Access period, we went through various trials and errors, reflecting on feedback and making improvements. After a long journey, we are finally here with exciting news.
Today, we bring you updates regarding the official release of ZOMVIRUS and changes to the game.
① Changes to the Gameplay
Before: The game followed an open-world-like progression.
Players moved through different areas, searching for safe zones and clearing stages upon reaching the destination.
When moving to a new area, zombies and weapons would reset.

After: The game now follows a stage-based progression.
The Hongdae district has been divided into different zones, where players must clear each stage.
Clearing a stage creates a separate area for players to rest and prepare.
Once a gun is obtained, it can be used continuously.

② Strengthening the Game's Narrative
Before: Aside from being set in a Korean zombie apocalypse, the story lacked depth.

After: The tutorial has been revised to enhance the coherence of the storyline.

③ New Areas & Zombies Added
New Area (Hapjeong Station, Line 2): A new zone inside Hapjeong Station has been added for gameplay

New Zombies: The "Tattooed Pig Zombie" and a "Large Zombie" have been introduced.

④ Renewal of Hongdae Street Background
Some parts of Hongdae Street have been modified.
1) Sidewalk remodeling
Before: Some sidewalks were awkwardly designed.

After: Sidewalk slopes have been improved.

2)Changes to the Hongdae street map structure
Before: The streets felt empty and lacked structures.

After: The environment has been modified to fit the apocalyptic concept.
