Hey!
We're excited to introduce a new update for GunsBox VR!
This time, we’ve made a major update to the overall user experience. Here’s what’s new:
Reworked Picatinny rail mounts
Improved suppressor mounts
Added a Hand Strength setting
Added an option to choose between automatic and manual magazine insertion (currently experimental)
So, let's get started?
Picatinny rail mounts have been completely reworked. They now behave much more like actual Picatinny rails rather than just being a slider like before.
Attachments now take up physical space on the rail and prevent another attachment from being installed in the same spot.
Here’s a visual example of how it works
(There are no slot highlights in the actual game - this is only a debug visualization)
Well, we'll just show you how it works now and then move on
(This should work with all guns. If it doesn’t, feel free to let us know and we’ll fix it)
A new Strength setting is now available under General - Input - Hands. It lets you adjust the strength of your hands with three options: Default, Strong, and Stan (don’t ask).
This setting should be especially useful for those who felt that the grip was a little too “flimsy”
We’ve added an experimental setting that allows you to manually insert magazines into the magazine well instead of having them inserted automatically just by bringing them close to it.
And that’s it for this update!
Thank you so much for your continued support and for sticking with us. We really appreciate all the feedback and encouragement you’ve been giving us.
This is just the beginning - there’s much more to come!
See you in the next update!
