Ground vehicles get a makeover

QANGA's ground vehicles have never had wheels. They hover just above the surface thanks to a magnetic suspension system – Hovercrafts. A sleek technology, but one that still needed to be tamed.

Until now, driving across rough terrain could quickly become unpredictable. A bad bump, a steep slope, and even a slight turn could send you spinning. That’s why we’ve completely reworked how these vehicles handle.

In the upcoming update, you’ll experience much more stable driving. The physics engine has been improved: additional forces are now applied to keep the vehicle balanced – even when stationary, even with the engine off. It won’t slide down a hill on its own anymore, it won’t flip after a jump, and it maintains a logical posture even on sloped terrain.

The acceleration phase has also been reworked. It’s smoother, more gradual. The vehicle builds up speed without jolts, moves forward more naturally. And when landing from a jump or a fall, it absorbs impacts better. The sense of control is immediate.

These adjustments also account for low-gravity environments. On the Moon, for example, the vehicle no longer bounces around awkwardly: it stays close to the ground while still preserving the light, floaty feeling unique to such areas.

And last but not least: momentum. If you exit the vehicle while it's moving, it will keep rolling for a while, driven by its own velocity. A small detail? Not really. It's the kind of behavior that brings machines to life and makes the experience more immersive.

All of this is coming very soon. We can’t wait to hear your thoughts once you're back behind the wheel.
