Drift Physics & Race Cars Smooth Steering Update

The drift physics have gotten a massive upgrade today for increased smoothness using assists that can be toggled as well as improved suspension. I’ve also implemented smoother steering rates for the race cars to easier smooth-steer on controllers, making it less snappy.

-All drift cars now have the option to switch assist mode using the radial menu, Assisted Handling or Reduced Assist. Reduced handles similarly to the old one but with improved suspension and it will feel more stable as well.

-Improved suspension of all drift cars for easier weight transfers and visual of the cars behaviour.

-Race cars have received an update that reduces the steering input delay.

-The steering input rate is now smoother on controllers and allows for more precise steering.

-The allowed steer angle is now slightly higher on the race cars at faster speeds, this combined with the other improvements means cleaner lines are now possible, leading to improved medal times.

-Small tweak to the final jump booster on Highfall 1, additional platform added.

-Small tweak to Highfall Alera Master, increased size of landing area at the big launch.

Let me know your thoughts and happy medal hunting!
