I've released a new update aimed at balancing and improving the new player experience including among other things:
Experience for minor skills, so chance of success increases as well as the amount of money you can earn from these skills
This feature is also explained in the tooltip
Balanced the price for the doctor, so it's now cheaper
Other minor fixes
These changes are available on the test branch.
