We know it's on the heels of another event, but for science. You see, we want to test out a mini-event with a proper campaign, not like our previous mini-events, which just featured competitions. Since so many of you were asking for Valentine's Day, it seemed like a good idea to test this out now.
There's a short mission (completing it won't just give you points on completion, the requirements themselves will give you points too), a tiered competition, collectibles, and points for shooting animals in the heart. The rewards are not quite so mini, so what are you waiting for?
Participate for the prizes, the trophies, and the glory! The hunter with the most Heart$ at the end of February 17th will win Community Prizes!

This year's mission is called Heart to Heart
It's time for the staple of any Valentine's Day, heart shots. And some collectibles. You can do the objectives in any order and with any weapons, but if you want to be a purist pick up some cupid arrows from the store. If you haven't used them in a while, be sure to shoot a few practice arrows at one of the ranges to get a feel for them. They fly a little differently from the others.
The mission will last throughout the duration of the event. Completing it will earn the hunter the following rewards:
Qualifying in a competition awards 100 RimeHeart$ for each comp. You don't need to place, just have an entry.

Each competition comes with 7 tiers based on your Hunter Score:
What would a game be without rules? We have one simple rule for our events: No exploitation of existing game mechanics to gain an advantage. All winners' hunts will be checked by EW staff prior to prizes being rewarded, and the decision will be final. In case of exploits usage, EW has a right to disqualify the player from this event.
And what would an Event be without sales? We're not sure, but we do know that we'd get nasty messages if we skipped them, so we've made sure to put sales in. Make sure to check out the Sale section to see the full list!
