Patch 1.0.8

Hi, this patch brings multiple changes and fixes to address recent feedback.

Changes

  • The first map on all explorations now always has a reward area before the first combat.

  • The Nurse skill now also applies Heal on the corners of her Skill Range.

  • Poisons now deal damage 100% faster per stack on the target. This notably increases how fast the Hippie deals damage.

  • Pico's Rampage buff now granst him 5 Attack Damage per stack (previously 10), but he now gains Rampage stacks based on 3% Skill Power (previously 2%). This greatly lowers the Attack Damage he gained on the top end, while just lowering the base by a bit.

  • Characters at the front columns now start moving before characters at the back columns. This means that characters now move forward in alignment, instead of the back character moving first than the front one.

  • Reservation spell effects that trigger on combat start are now processed before item effects that trigger on combat start. Notably, this now allows a character with items like the Substitute to do its swap after the character gains Hidden from the Secret Temple spell.

Fixes

  • Fixed instances of soft locks when moving to a boss area or crossing a portal.

  • Fixed being able to pick the same forged item 2 times if clicked with both mouse buttons.

  • Fixed the Regret highlights on the team traits panel keeping previous highlights when hovering multiple characters in sequence. They now correctly clear first, then the red color is applied to the trait that would be replaced on the currently hovered character.

  • Fixed the "flee enabled" popup from triggering when entering a map area after having lost against a boss.

We'll now focus on the content patch we mentioned previously, where we'll add a bunch of content that we have semi finished, but we ran out of time to add for the release day. You can expect that patch in a few weeks. There are still other small changes and bugs we want to address, so we'll also try to get some of those done earlier if we can.

After that content patch we'll announce the timeline for our first big update, which will include "endgame runs" as the main new feature. Folow the game here on Steam or join our Discord if you don't want to miss the announcement.

If you've been enjoying all the patches since release, consider leaving the game a review, it would greatly help the game out. Have fun in the Underboard!

So please be sure to add it to your Wishlist, and considering picking it up during a future sale!Game update26 Aug 2026Patch 1.2.5Endless Changes The Zone Level Multiplier in endless runs now starts scaling much faster after zone 4, but it still has the same cap at map 32. This is intended to have a more distinct separation between the early, mid and late parts of the progression curve in an endless run: · Zones 1-4 serve as the early part of the run where you should have plenty of time to build a starting team. · Zones 5…Game update18 Aug 2026Patch 1.2.4Endless Runs Changes We want to have a difficulty cap in endless runs to serve as a benchmark for your teams and a good stopping point if you only care about beating the content. The thing is that some players want to keep going after that to min max their teams, but we felt the difficulty cap didn't provide enough increase in difficulty for those players. Nerfing player power across the board…
