Dear Blacksmiths,
It's been a while since our demo release. Your valuable feedback has helped shape the game's design significantly. Our vision has evolved to incorporate more RPG elements and create a deeper crafting experience.

Where Are We Heading? Crafting remains the backbone of Medieval Crafter: Blacksmith. As a master blacksmith, you'll forge weapons and armor for customers, mine ores, and equip heroes and adventurers from your village. These champions can be sent on dungeons and quests to gather weapons, armor, and resources - which you can then repair, scrap, or sell. You'll also serve your kingdom during wartime. This direction has led us to focus on enhancing management and RPG elements rather than creating a typical simulation game.

Quality System Overhaul: We've completely revamped the quality system. In the demo, qualities could be directly selected while crafting an item - for instance, you could simply choose to craft a rare Copperside Sword from the assembly table with minimal additional resources. We found this too simplistic for our vision. The new system is skill-driven with RNG elements, giving you more control over the crafting process. On the anvil, a part's rarity now depends on your talent tree, the anvil's upgrade level, and the treatments you've applied. During assembly, you can influence the final item's rarity by choosing specific components - using an epic sword base instead of a common one increases the chance of crafting a higher-quality weapon. This system provides more meaningful choices and greater control over crafting outcomes.

New Mechanics: We've expanded beyond basic blacksmithing to include repair and salvage systems. The new repair table allows you to service customer orders and maintain your heroes' equipment. Remember, broken gear becomes unusable until repaired. We've also added a scrapping table where you can dismantle unwanted weapons and armor to reclaim raw materials. These additions create an engaging resource management layer.

Hero System: To give crafted items more purpose, we've introduced a hero system. Heroes are paid companions who serve your forge. Send them on quests and into dungeons to discover new weapons, armor, gold, resources, and recipes. Currently, there are five hero classes: Warrior, Priest, Mage, Rogue, and Hunter. Each class has a primary stat that significantly influences their power level as they grow stronger.

Mini-Game Improvements: We've enhanced all existing mini-games, from assembly to sharpening, and are considering new ones for scrapping and repairing mechanics.

Additional Updates:
Implemented inventory stacking system
Redesigned user interfaces
And many more improvements
We're excited to continue developing Medieval Crafter: Blacksmith and look forward to sharing more updates with you soon!
