- Blooper Reel – finish the game on Hard to unlock!
- Last playthrough stats – An overview of everything that happened in your last playthrough.
- Expanded Twitter functionality – Now the game can construct a custom tweet describing the details of your particular playthrough.
Press X to Not Die will be exiting Early Access on Friday October 6, 2017.
Here's a look back at just some of the things we've added to the game since those first days of Early Access:
- Play the prototype (DLC)! Because it's even better when it's stuffed animals trying to kill you.
- Virtually all the bonus features, including the Death Galleries (inspired by user feedback!).
- Subtitles! An entire subtitle system had to be implemented, which then paved the way for localization into an eventual 7 languages.
- The switchover from the XNA Framework to the FNA Framework proved to be a huge undertaking but necessary to resolve many compatibility issues players had encountered. Who knew playing video had so many compatibility problems! The switchover also paved the way for releasing Press X to Not Die on Mac and Linux!
With a 93% Steam user rating and over 1000 positive reviews, we are truly humbled by the response to Press X to Not Die. Thank you to all our fans for your support. We are certain that the best is yet to come!
