Parking System

Hey everyone!

Only 26 days until the release of the free prologue - so let’s take a closer look at one of the systems in the game!

Parking might seem like a small detail, but in Car Rental Simulator, it plays an important role in how you manage your space and keep your business running smoothly.

To make the process clear and intuitive, we’ve introduced a ghost system that helps guide you into the correct position. It shows exactly how the car should be aligned, making parking easier to understand while still requiring a bit of precision.

We’ve also implemented designated parking zones, which are used when preparing vehicles for rental. Each car needs to be placed correctly within these areas before it can be listed, adding a layer of structure to how you organize your lot.

As you upgrade your property, you’ll unlock additional parking spots, allowing you to handle more vehicles and expand your rental capacity. Managing space becomes more important over time, especially as your business grows.

The goal is to keep parking simple and readable, while still making it a natural part of the overall gameplay loop - something that fits seamlessly into your daily routine rather than slowing you down.

Let us know what you think, and we’ll see you in the next devlog!

PS. Don’t forget to add the upcoming free slice Car Rental Simulator: Prologue - Early Days to your wishlist!

Building a proper rental business takes time, and when you first arrive at your lot, things are far from perfect. Every rental business has to start somewhere, and at the beginning of Car Rental Simulator, you won't have access to a fully equipped car wash just yet. Your first cleaning setup is much simpler.
