Hello, brave and stylish Rebels (morning, noon, and night)! It’s been a while. Rebellion Godsoul EA 1.67 has been updated! The Workshop is now officially open!!
After months of development, we have completed our Story Editor, launched the public beta, and officially opened the Steam Workshop.
The first release is the “Story MOD Editor”, accessible through the [Additional Content] menu!!!
Players can now create original stories, call character sprites, import CGs, backgrounds, and voice lines, as well as create branching choices—allowing you to craft your very own galgame experience inside Rebellion Godsoul!
The text content of this version of the editor has not yet been fully localized into English, Japanese, or Traditional Chinese. Due to recent heavy development workload, localization will be added in a unified update later on (estimated to be completed by the end of the year).
Currently, card-related MODs and other types of MODs do not yet have built-in easy-to-use tools. However, if any experts are familiar with Unreal Engine 4.27, you can still create MODs without the editor and are welcome to share them through the Workshop.
[Rebellion Godsoul Workshop Terms & Usage Agreement]
The following content is strictly prohibited from being uploaded to the Workshop:
Any content involving real-world politics.
Any content that violates the laws of the region where Steam is located—namely, the United States. This includes but is not limited to: real-person pornography, extreme violence, and underage sexual content.
Content promoting cults or feudal superstitions.
Content that applies Netorare or LGBTQ reinterpretations to the official characters of this game.
Content spreading rumors or promoting regional discrimination.
Content involving scams, computer viruses, trojans, or any other malicious software.
Content that maliciously insults or defames friendly characters in the game (such as offensive tattoos, insult symbols, hate symbols, etc.).
Any content that stirs up drama, attacks other games or communities, or attempts to provoke fanbase conflicts.
If you discover any violating MODs, please use the Report function on the MOD’s Workshop page.
*All MOD rights and responsibilities belong solely to the creators and do not represent the official stance.
*To prevent automated spam, MOD uploading permissions will unlock only after your Rebellion Godsoul Steam playtime reaches ≥ 3 hours.
*Users playing via “Family Sharing” without owning the game cannot unlock the upload function.

*Tutorials for PAK packaging, Spine sprite importing, and BGM importing will be released in future updates.
[EA 1.67 BUG Fixes]
1. Fixed an issue where the BUFF icon would shift when no Linker was equipped or when some Godsoul HP values were zero.
2. Fixed several typos in certain story events and tutorials.
3.The animated character illustration system has been upgraded to Spine 4.2! Some illustration textures have also been enhanced in high resolution.
[EA 1.67 Rewards]
The Workshop was originally planned for release on November 27th, but due to an unexpected Spine upgrade bug, the update was slightly delayed. As compensation, we added a free HD wallpaper of “Black & White Ice Cream” to the free DLC list!
[Latest Development Progress – Roguelike Tower Climb Mode]
Our Roguelike mode is under intense development! This is a true tower-climbing mode~ The workload is quite heavy, so it will still take a few more months QAQ. Feel free to urge us on!
[Regarding the Story & Writing]
Our main story progression has been a bit slow—our apologies! We will first update the Favorability Story events. Note: Favorability stories and the main storyline belong to the same world, but the timeline is presented in a non-linear structure.
However, we can confirm that in December, we will release ALL remaining Favorability Story content for Hoshimu! There will be more than ten new CGs!
