Hello Everyone,

This will be the last devlog in our series dedicated to the recent Maiden Voyage update. Our team is already heads-down and hard at work on the next one. If you read between the lines of any of the recent developer videos you can likely guess what will be coming next. We’re going to add new content along with building on the systems you’ve already seen.In this video we’re looking at everything surrounding the Halmare Isles including what inspired the map and many of the other features that come with it. It will highlight some of the unique challenges we’ve faced and give context to some of the completely new systems we wanted to create.

Beyond these features, we wanted to speak on the “why” behind the Maiden Voyage update and give clarity on just what drives us to make the game as good as it possibly can be. These featured members of our team and many more behind the scenes share just how passionate we are about making a fun, immersive and engaging game like Bellwright. However, there is still a lot of work to be done.

We don’t have a specific date in mind just yet but we will have another big update soon. Thank you for all the kind words and constructive feedback you’ve given us across our various social channels and in the comments. All your support goes a long way to keep our team energized and excited for more.

As always, Bellwright is in Early Access, and your feedback is vital. If you encounter any bugs or have suggestions, please report them at

Congratulations to user Zeyr0 for their meme titled "The Late Night Town Hall Grind" inspired by the construction in the middle of the night that must be annoying all the villagers.
