Hello agents, it's your creative director, Kosmik Raven, and we finally did it. We officially launched the DDP Holodock 1.0 demo on Steam. Now I get to tell you all about it. But first, I want to thank you for supporting us through the rough times. We have been hard at work on the changes you requested, and have also added more to the gameplay and mechanics. Our last demo was just a taste, and now you get a lot more to chew on and sink your teeth into. So let's start off with our new agents.

Welcome your DDP agents. They have different stats that go with the playstyle of your choice. Let's start with our brute. Titan - The brute of the group with the Strength and Defense to mow down Zombots with his specialty weapon, the Shotgun.

Lt. Smash - The smasher of the group, with Defense and Luck on her side to hit those Zombots with her specialty weapon, the Machine Gun.

Pr0-T0 - The balancer of the group, with the Energy and Stamina to outperform the Zombots with their specialty weapon, the Pistol.

N3ro - The ninja of the group, with the Speed and Stamina to take out Zombots with ease and distance with their specialty weapon, the Sniper Rifle.

Agent Z - The expert of the group, with Luck, Stamina, and Speed to combat the Zombot outbreak with their specialty weapons, the Pistol and the Sniper Rifle.

Now that you know the agents, let's talk stats and what they do for you. Just like anything, there are pros and cons to every agent. Let's break it down.

Health Max = How much life you have to survive.

Energy = How much shield energy you have for your shield.

Stamina = How much stamina you have for running and melee attacks.

Defense = How much damage the agent takes once their shields are gone.

Strength = How hard your melee damage is & the distance you can knock back a zombot.

Speed = How fast the agent moves.

Luck = How much your crit chance/headshot chance is.

Specializations = Every agent has a specialty weapon, which, if used, will give you More Base Ammo and More Base Damage for that weapon.

We talked about Special Ammo in our last dev blog, so go check that out if you wanna see what that brings into play. So CLICK HERE.

Now, let's talk about our other changes and upgrades we have made. We redid animations and smoothed out moving around and switching weapons. If you played our last demo, you will tell the difference we put into the player character. Also added automatic reloads to smooth out the gunplay, just in case you forget to reload. Added a respawn option in the pause menu. And if you wanna lay back, we got controller and Steam Deck control schemes. We also added a hint button just in case you get lost.

DDP is also darker now. We played with our lighting system and added a flashlight. Rooms are dark until cleared now. This will play a big part in multiplayer and future levels. We wanted to give DDP more ambiance and vibes. Enjoy the darkness and clear out the low-powered rooms so they can get power again. Are you ready, agents?

I promise we're almost done, agents, so you can go clear the sectors. Next, we have the boss of the Holodock meet Spidermech with multiple vicious attacks and servers that power its shields. Find the servers and turn them off in the rooms, and maybe you will survive. Learn the strategy to destroy Spidermech and proceed to get your score.

And finally, we added a scoreboard to track your scores. So send us your screenshots of your scores in our Discord and win a free DDP t-shirt. Thank you again, agents, for being patient with us, and hope you enjoy the Holodock 1.0 demo. Next, we have multiplayer and the showcasing of our other maps. Stay tuned and enjoy the Steam demo today!!!
