Thanks for all the great feedback so far, I have ironed out some bugs and added improvements.

Much improved car select screen
If game is set to controller, but player presses a keyboard key it will now revert to keyboard controls
When using keyboard A and D now steers left and right as well as the arrow keys
If player sets accel to W key this will automatically set proceed button on menus to Enter
If player sets brake to S key this will set back button on menus to Esc
Player can now select Up Arrow for accel and Down for Brake, menus will change to Enter and Esc if this happens
