Overview

Hi protectors! This is LIFUEL. Happy New Year!

In this update, we have officially implemented content previously introduced in dev logs and tested during the beta phase into the live version. Players will now experience the completely revamped Omega Project, comprising 44 distinct branches. Consequently, extensive adjustments have been made to overall values and balance. While striving to preserve the original feel, we hope you'll choose your growth path based on personal preference. We've also added several special features centered around this system.

Below are the details of this update:

(*All resources obtained and used in previous versions will be automatically refunded 100% when the game is launched.)

Omega Project

The new Omega Project is now officially available. Enhance your character's abilities by unlocking nodes and investing points. Since each node has a limited number of enhancements, strategic growth planning is essential.

Beta Feedback Adjustments

During the approximately two-week testing period, we received a wealth of valuable suggestions and feedback, which we used to implement comprehensive optimizations:

  • Overall Manium Crystal cost reduced

  • Base stats of nodes increased

  • Maximum point capacity increased

  • Manium Crystals obtained from disassembly are automatically converted after the loop ends

  • Maximum enhancement level cap increased for certain nodes

  • Direction indicators added to node connections

  • Additional resources and VFX added to terminal nodes

  • New Omega Point notification pop-up added

  • Current active Omega Project info is displayed in the inventory and records

Some feedback remains unimplemented due to development timelines. These will be progressively added in subsequent updates.

Balance Adjustments

  • Distance from Corpse Mountain to Base Camp entrance reduced

  • Boss stun duration reduced

  • Player base HP reduced

  • Player base Regain efficiency reduced

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed occasional crashes when switching maps while Doctor’s Eye is alive.

  • Fixed enemies occasionally getting stuck in walls.

  • Fixed map switching crashes when Raw Manium robot and Doctor’s Eye coexist.

  • Fixed text overlapping when repeatedly entering the settings menu.

  • Fixed the issue where the second attack would disappear when returning to the title screen and re-entering the game while equipped with "[Unique]Off-Balance Center of Gravity".

Additional Notes

Originally, weapon upgrades and starting module updates were planned along with the Omega Project (Metaprogression). However, as the scope of content has expanded, we believe each system requires more time for refinement.

Additionally, during testing, we observed that the substantial increase in enhancement branches may lead to player fatigue due to surging resource demands. Therefore, the next update will prioritize introducing more efficient ways to acquire Manium Crystals. The delayed systems mentioned above will be rolled out gradually once they are more thoroughly prepared.

We sincerely apologize for this update delay. Additionally, we will conduct extensive reorganization and optimization of unstable elements like Data Fragments. Should the development cycle extend further, we will continue to provide progress updates through development logs.

Thank you for your continued support.
