When I first started this project in August of 2023, I didn't know where to start or how to do anything game development related (I still don't). The direction I was going changed pretty early on, I was wanting to make something along the lines of an immersive sim but didn't know enough at the time. I'm only one guy with a computer. So I aimed for something much more manageable, a good ole mostly non-linear FPS game with a good game-play foundation (at least to me) and a good couple of hours worth of content to explore.
I made myself a standard of at least releasing something relatively well made (not crashing immediately) with the art style I've developed over the years. I feel as though I did that but I might be a bit biased.
Funnest part of the Project? Making the enemies, there's a lot of them and they do silly things.
Hardest part of the Project? Would have said music but 3D modeling. I had to keep things relatively simple.
You can only get so far without tools, so at least to me I feel like I have a good selection. The most important tools being an XP-Pen drawing tablet (amazing device honestly), FL Studio, Godot, Audacity, Krita, Blender, and freakin Youtube.
