The Cursed Update introduces a new twist mechanic to challenge your investigations with “cursed items”. You will be required to be more aware of your surroundings and coordinate better with your team. You will encounter the curse, and you need to get out alive!
This update marks another major milestone in Early Access, redefining the core experience with several additions and several improvements. Check out all the updates that are available in this new April update!
This update is available to the full game and Friend’s Pass build.

IMPROVEMENTS & NEW FEATURES
Here are the changes implemented in this build:
New Map Modifiers
The curse has spread even further, making the outbreak even more dangerous. Missions now feature additional map modifiers that require the agents to adapt and stay alert at all times.
Cursed Items
A dark curse may now afflict key items. Carrying them in your inventory will grant negative effects to the holder.
- Irradiating Curse
Your health slowly drains over time, and teammates standing too close will also suffer the same damage.
- Stoned Curse
Movement controls become disoriented, causing your character to move in unintended directions while the screen distorts with a chromatic aberration effect.
- Blindness Curse
Your field of vision narrows, making it difficult to see approaching threats and navigate the environment.
Additional Modifiers
- Toxic Enemies
When these enemies die, their bodies rupture and spill corrosive, toxic liquid onto the ground.
- Exploding Zombies
Some enemies become volatile. Upon death, they detonate, damaging nearby players.
Class Rework
All playable classes have been reworked to define their roles better and improve overall team effectiveness. Each class now offers clearer strengths, more impactful perks, and a stronger identity during missions.
- Bodybuilder 💪
An unstoppable human tank. Has more maximum life & can ram enemies while dashing, but has a slower sprint speed.
- Medic 💉
The last line between life and death. Can heal a critically wounded teammate and craft a DIY Aid Kit from the beginning.
- Firefighter 🪓
Trained to break through flame, but not gunfight. Starts with an axe and can craft it early, but loses it on death. Resistant to blast damage, yet struggles with firearm accuracy. - Rookie Agent 🔫
Fresh recruit from the Bureau. Armed with a Pistol attached with a High-Caliber Barrel and can craft more early on, but loses it on death. Poorly trained in melee combat. - Security Guard 🛡️
Hard to rattle, harder to bring down. Reduces physical damage taken from enemy attacks and consumes less stamina when performing melee attacks.
New Map: Commercial Area
The Commercial Area is a dense district filled with convenience stores, gas stations, and small shops. Blood-red roots creep across walls and roads, slowly consuming what remains of the area.
New Puzzles
Several new puzzles have been introduced across different locations, requiring players to observe their surroundings and work together to progress.
- Golden Ring Puzzle
A mysterious mechanism involving rotating golden rings.
- Cogwheel Puzzle
Restore broken machinery by locating and reassembling the missing cogwheels.
- Power Switch Puzzle
A memory-based puzzle that challenges players to match colored switches.
- Water Valve Puzzle
Adjust industrial valves to control water flow through pipes.
Creepy Endless Horde
When you encounter the endless horde, your screen will gradually reflect the horrors beyond comprehension.
New Elite Boss: Alpha Hollow Mother
A far more terrifying variant of the already dangerous Hollow Mother has emerged in the Abandoned Factory map. To obtain the final artifact, players must face and defeat this monstrous entity.
Safehouse Map Update
This location will now appear after players successfully complete the mission in City Hospital and will no longer be an endless mission.
New Cutscene
A new cutscene has been added to serve as a conclusion for the currently available missions during Early Access.
Cats!
Stray cats can now be found wandering in certain areas of the map. You can interact and pet them.
BUG FIXES
Here’s what’s been fixed:
- Door Bug: Fixed a bug where, after solving a puzzle, the rolling door would open for the host but remain blocked for clients.
- Connection Issue: Fixed an issue where items could become unsynchronized after a player reconnected to a session.
