The Geared-Up Update introduces utility items to aid the agents while encountering difficult situations during investigations. With more tools given to you from the B.R.I.M. HQ, you can expect multiple ways to investigate Mount Bisik more tactically.
Another milestone in the Early Access update! Several improvements were also implemented to create a smoother experience for the players. Check out all the updates that are available in this new August update!
This update is available to the full game and Friend’s Pass build.

IMPROVEMENTS & NEW FEATURES
Here are the changes implemented in this build:
Utility Items
A new category of equipment that grants passive bonuses to aid agents in the field. Some Utility Items can even reduce or counter the negative effects inflicted by Cursed Items.
- Hazmat Gear
A sealed protective gear designed for hazardous environments. Protects against irradiated, toxic puddles, dizziness, and disorientation.
- Night Vision Goggles
A field-issued night vision device. Prevents Blindness, improves visibility in darkness, and reveals invisible enemies.
- Armor Vest
Reinforced combat armor designed for frontline protection. Breaks when its durability is depleted. Its weight reduces movement speed.
- Lockpicking Tool
A compact set of tools, allowing quick access by skipping traditional lockpicking mechanisms.
- Bolt Cutter
A tool used for cutting bolts, chains, padlocks, rebar, and wire mesh. The Bolt Cutter is now a Utility Item and can be carried between missions, allowing agents to reuse it in future deployments.
Dizziness Effect
A new status effect that causes agents to experience dizziness and disorientation, affecting their control and movement during missions.
Sickness Bar
A new status UI displayed below the stamina bar, allowing agents to monitor their sickness level. Once it passes the red threshold, agents will suffer from Dizziness and Disorientation effects.
Causes of Dizziness
Certain conditions during missions can increase the Sickness Bar. Keep track of your status to avoid reaching the threshold and suffering from Dizziness and Disorientation.
- Excessive Consumption of Herbs
- Toxic Goo
- Cursed Item
Antidote
Various items can now reduce the Sickness Bar or cure Dizziness, helping agents recover from its debilitating effects and stay combat-ready.
- Blue Herb
Rare herb that removes dizziness and disorientation. Can be mixed with other herbs.
- Tonic
A traditional beverage that invigorates your body. Prevents stamina consumption for a short time, also removes dizziness & disorientation.
New Map: Hotel De Maan
A historic colonial-era hotel in the heart of Daha, Hotel De Maan hides a dark secret beneath its aging halls. Local legends speak of concealed chambers once used to safeguard valuables and shelter people during times of war and disaster. As agents investigate the outbreak, they may uncover these forgotten passages and the mysteries within.
New Puzzles
Introducing new puzzle mechanics and environmental interactions. Explore your surroundings, investigate objects, and piece together clues to uncover secrets and progress through the mission.
- Corpse Surgery
Search a corpse's surgical sutures for a hidden book fragment. Proceed with caution, the corpse might still be possessed.
- Torn Page
Collect and assemble three torn page fragments to reveal a clue that determines the correct direction to rotate the Bride Statue.
- Bride Statue
Rotate the Bride Statues according to the clues revealed by the ancient book page to unlock a hidden room concealed within the hotel.
Mission Objective - Extermination
Clear the map by locating and destroying every brood nest infesting the area.
Rogue Map Update (3 Phase)
The roguelite map is now divided into three phases, with an initial low-density phase designed to help agents learn and adapt to core gameplay before facing larger and more complex encounters.
The Leaderboard System
Compete with other agents and climb the ranks by earning top scores across missions.
NOTICE: Since the game is currently in Early Access, leaderboard data may be reset periodically as we continue to develop, improve, and balance the game.
Updated UI: Class Selection
A refreshed class selection interface featuring six available classes, with five displayed at a time. Each class can only be selected by one agent, so choose wisely before deployment.
Rim Light Shader
Added rim lighting effects to player characters, enemies, and dropped items, improving visibility and readability in dark environments.
Bug Fixes
Here’s what’s been fixed:
- Fixed an issue where player save data could be reset after reconnecting to a session
- Fixed a crash affecting some players using AMD hardware
- Fixed an issue where players could spawn incorrectly after reconnecting to a game
- Improved synchronization for interactable props in multiplayer
- Fixed the Courtyard Puzzle in the Large Police Station map that could not be opened.
- Fixed an issue where players could not extract or return to the lobby from the Large Tourist District map.
- Fixed multiple issues causing the Leaderboard to not function correctly.
- Fixed ammo disappearing from a weapon's magazine after combining it with an attachment.
- Fixed the Secret Vault cinematic in Hotel de Maan being triggered repeatedly after the vault had already been opened.
- Fixed an item duplication exploit that could occur when reconnecting through Quick Join.
- Fixed an issue where players could become stuck on doors.
- Fixed an issue where players could push the Hairmaiden outside the barricaded area in the Safehouse map.
- Fixed the Ripped Page puzzle in Hotel de Maan not synchronizing correctly between players after the pages had been combined.
- Fixed the Meditation skill becoming inactive after a player reconnected to the session.
- Fixed an issue where player movement animations played at an abnormally fast speed after dropping an Armor Vest.
- Fixed multiple minor bugs.
Known issues
- The latest patch note isn't displayed properly in-game, please refer to this announcement for the changes.
- In some cases, a player may join the session as a 5th player. Since the maximum supported player count is 4, entering the map in this state can result in broken visuals.
- Occasionally, a regular enemy may spawn with an abnormally high amount of HP (sometimes exceeding 1,000 HP), making it much more difficult to defeat than intended.
