Makers,

Between the in-game feedback form, steam reviews and watching streamers play, I collected a lot of feedback following the release of the demo. My major focus in this version was to simplify controls and improve interactions, as well as to improve driving physics and to reduce obstacles in the scene.

Major Changes:

  • New radial multi interaction interface

  • Major remap of action keys to simplify control

  • Improved steering physics (speed dependent steer angle and smoothing)

  • Reduction of small physical rocks in the scene

Minor Changes:

  • Pick ability on the left hand (with animation)

  • Updated window prefab

  • New Printing UI separates mobile machines, attached machines and base modules

  • Show building cost while printing a machine

  • Updated moon graphic 🌙

Fixes:

  • Quitting the remote while being mounted returns control to the player

  • Fixed occasional exception when saving player data

  • Fixed inability to equip tools after riding a machine

  • Other minor bugs

Fight for Liberty, Fight for Progress!
