Hey everyone 👋
We’ve got some big news to share with the CryoDeath community.
We’re currently deep into development for the standalone Meta Quest version of CryoDeath.
This is a full port, built specifically to preserve the atmosphere, tension, and immersion you expect from the game — on standalone VR hardware.
⚠️ There is no release date to announce just yet.
We’re taking our time to ensure performance and visual quality meet our standards before locking anything in. More details will be shared once testing is complete.
The work doesn’t stop with Quest. Development on CryoDeath is moving forward across the board, and Steam players can expect some major improvements ahead:
We’ve completed the port from UE4 to Unreal Engine 5.7, laying the groundwork for:
Improved performance & stability
A stronger foundation for future updates
We’re also working on a Tutorial 2.0 overhaul, focused on:
Clearer onboarding for new players
Improved pacing and guidance
A smoother introduction to core mechanics and systems
More details on these updates will be shared as they get closer to release.
We’ve also launched our brand-new website, which will act as the main hub for:
Game updates & announcements
Development progress
Future projects from the studio
