Hello StormStriker players!
We’re excited to introduce the 1.46 update. Here’s what’s new:

Lightning and Teo Join the Battle

  • The new character Lightning makes her debut, and Teo returns to the battlefield!
  • Please refer to the Balance section below for more details.

Lucy's Skill Swap Added

A new skill swap has been added for Lucy, tailored for a close-range playstyle.
Please refer to the Balance section below for more information.

Overall Balance Direction

Maximus

  • Developer Notes
    • We observed that aggressive tank characters like Volf and Shifu are currently more dominant.
    • While Maximus has a clear role, his lower-tier performance showed limited potential.
    • To emphasize his strength as a defensive tank, we've slightly increased the shield value on his core defensive skill.

  • Indomitable Shield

    • Guard Amount: 700 → 800

Warmonger

  • Developer Notes
    • Titan Splash had high mobility and a short cooldown, which often led to disjointed gameplay, with one team lacking a tank and the other missing a DPS.
    • To address this and encourage more cooperative play, we have increased the cooldown of Titan Splash from 4s to 6s.
    • To compensate for this nerf and strengthen Warmonger’s role as a protective counter-tank, we’ve also improved his shielding ability.

  • Flex Harder!

    • Guard Amount: 700 → 800

  • Titan Splash

    • Cooldown: 4s → 6s

  • Totem Buster

    • Cooldown: 5s → 6s

  • Totem Fall

    • Cooldown: 5s → 6s

  • Boulder Tackle

    • Damage: 30 / 180 → 60 / 150

Eveleen

  • Developer Notes
    • With other tanks receiving buffs, Eveleen’s pick rate has fallen.
    • We're slightly buffing her LMB damage and range, and planning future updates to allow it to hit enemies along the Z-axis as well, instead of only XY.
    • While this update includes only a small adjustment, we’ll continue to monitor her performance and raise her viability to be on par with other tanks in situational pick rates.

  • Quantum Cube

    • Damage: 80 → 90
    • Range: 7m → 8m

Bernhardt

  • Developer Notes
    • Bernhardt’s sustain fits the bruiser archetype well, but his burst DPS has been exceeding expectations, making it hard for supports to counter him effectively.
    • To address this, we’re slightly reducing his damage output while enhancing his mobility and rage-fueled survivability.
    • With shorter cooldowns on movement skills, we envision Bernhardt as a persistent threat that eventually overwhelms healers through sustained pressure.

  • Death Pursuit

    • Damage: 10 / 140 → 10 / 125

  • Rampaging Fury

    • Damage: 10 / 100 → 10 / 125
    • Shield: 75 → 100
    • Dash Distance: 4.5m → 6m

  • Inferno Strike

    • Damage: 210 → 180

  • Blitzkrieg

    • Cooldown: 7s → 6s

  • Savage Dash

    • Cooldown: 9s → 7s

Akira

  • Developer Notes
    • The swap skill Dimensional Slash has felt underwhelming compared to Decimation, particularly in terms of healing, range, and forward movement.
    • To improve usability, we've increased its projectile speed.

  • Wind Blade

    • Projectile Speed: 50m/s → 120m/s

  • Dimensional Slash

    • Projectile Speed: 90m/s → 120m/s

Lightning

  • Developer Notes
    • Lightning is our third bruisertype character.
    • She grows stronger by stacking basic attacks and was designed to be a beginner-friendly melee character that's easy to play but requires good positioning.
    • We expect her to be a high-floor, low-ceiling character until her swap skill (Limit Break) is activated, at which point her power spikes moderately.

  • Base Health

    • 820

  • Agility

    • Increases movement speed by 40% while out of combat

  • Limit Break

    • Activates upon collecting 4 illusion swords
    • Deals AoE damage: 60
    • Grants a base 100 shield for 3s
    • Grants 100 shield per enemy hit for 3s
    • Empowers all skills except ultimate

  • Illusion Slash

    • Base
      • Damage: 60 / 60 / 80
      • Dash Distance: 2.5m
      • Gains illusion sword after 3 successful hits

    • Limit Break

      • Damage: 80 (×4) / 80 (×4) / 100 (×4)
      • Dash Distance: 250
      • Extends Limit Break duration by 2.5s (Max +10s)

  • Lightning Acceleration

    • Base
      • Damage: 60
      • Grants 75 shield for 3s
      • Dash Distance: 7.5m

    • Limit Break

      • Damage: 80
      • Grants 100 shield for 3s
      • Dash Distance: 7.5m

    • Cooldown: 2.5s (Max 3 stacks)
  • Lightning Drive

    • Base
      • Normal: Damage 60, launches enemies
      • Charged: Damage 60, launches and knocks back enemies (5m)

    • Limit Break

      • Normal: 60 / 20×4, launches enemies
      • Charged: 60 / 20×4, launches and knocks back enemies (5m)

    • Cooldown: 7s
  • Shooting Star

    • Base
      • Damage: 180
      • Grants 100 shield for 3s
      • Dash Distance: 5m

    • Limit Break

      • Damage: 180 / 60×4
      • Grants 125 shield for 3s

    • Can float for 5 seconds midair
    • Damage: 200
    • Pulls all enemies to Lightning’s front
    • Activates Limit Break upon use

Raki

  • Developer Notes
    • Currently, only the 3rd hit of Furry Flurry is heavily favored in damage, so we are redistributing its damage.
    • We’re also slightly increasing the cooldowns of Kitty Step and Kitty Rush due to their high mobility.
    • Additionally, we’re reviewing ways to buff her ultimate, which is currently too easily countered. (E.g., making the first 3 hits unstoppable + adding visual cues.)

  • Furry Flurry

    • Hit 1: Outer: 80 / Center: 140 → Outer: 80 / Center: 160
    • Hit 2: Outer: 80 / Center: 140 → Outer: 80 / Center: 160
    • Hit 3: Outer: 180 / Center: 320 → Outer: 180 / Center: 280

  • Kitty Step

    • Cooldown: 2.5s → 3s

  • Kitty Rush (JellyyShot)

    • Cooldown: 2.5s → 3s

Rei

  • Frost Blade
    • EX gauge charge amount reduced by 30%

  • Biting Hailstorm

    • EX gauge charge amount reduced by 30%

  • Arctic Incantation

    • EX gauge charge amount reduced by 20%

Al-Manat

  • Developer Notes
    • Al-Manat has been underperforming compared to other assassins, with a low pick rate.
    • We are monitoring her closely and have made slight buffs to improve Execution usability and Death Vortex damage.

  • Execution

    • Hitbox size: x = 250 / y = 125 → x = 300 / y = 175

  • Death Vortex

    • Damage: 660 (10 hits) → 700 (10 hits)
    • Cooldown: 7s → 6s

Lucy

  • Developer Notes
    • Vermilion Void was regenerating EX Gauge beyond intended levels when hitting multiple enemies. This has now been reverted to its original value.
    • Two new swap skills, Bloody Claw and Bloody Hunt, have been added for close-range Lucy.
    • Another swap skill tailored for close-combat Lucy is in development.
    • Following Rei’s RMB buff, Lucy’s performance has dropped again. We're planning to improve her overall quality-of-life.

  • Bloody Claw

    • Damage: 54 (3 hits)
    • Added as LMB swap skill

  • Bloody Hunt

    • Damage: 110
    • Cooldown: 0.5s

    • EX Gauge Recovery: 120 → 80

Teo

  • Developer Notes

    • Damage per shot: 24

  • Combat Mode: Battle Rifle

    • Damage per shot: 60

    • Cooldown: 14s

  • Reload
  • Tactical Maneuver

    • Movement speed increase: 60%
    • Cooldown: 1s

  • Code Zero: Sniper Mode

    • Damage by Distance: 200 / 240 / 320

  • Note: For those who have been playing Taeo for a long time, adjustments to the alternate skill slots may be necessary. Please press the reset button in the skill window once.

Electra

  • Developer Notes
    • We've identified a significant loss of healing due to missed LMB hits, so we've increased Path of Pleasure's projectile speed slightly.
    • Compared to Narae and Chloe, Electra’s overall value felt lower, so multiple minor buffs have been applied.
    • A new defensive swap skill is in development to compensate for her lack of survivability, which we hope will improve her viability.

  • Path of Pleasure

    • Projectile Speed: 144m/s → 160m/s

    • Heal per second: 120 → 240

  • Encroaching Thorns

    • Damage: 100 → 150
    • Cooldown: 9s → 7s

  • Land of Delight

    • Cooldown: 9s → 7s

  • Enchanting Grace

    • Cooldown: 3s → 2.5s

Chloe

  • Developer Notes
    • To make Chloe more exciting to play, we’ve significantly reduced the cooldown of Zoom Zoom, Horo Car!
    • We hope that this change, along with a shorter cooldown for Tag! Freeze!, will offer more flexible swap skill options—especially helpful for newer players, making her easier to pick up but still rewarding.

  • Zoom Zoom, Horo Car!

    • Cooldown: 9s → 4.5s

  • Tag! Freeze!

    • Cooldown: 15s → 12s

  • Chloe’s bomb-carrying voice line volume has been increased.

    • When Chloe is holding a bomb, she shouts more loudly in excitement.
    • This change should help players better recognize and react to an incoming Chloe from a distance.

Sabio

  • Developer Notes
    • Sabio has been underperforming in the mid-tier range.
    • We're applying slight buffs across his kit to raise his performance and will continue monitoring him.

  • Golden Spear of Kukulkan

    • Damage by range: 50 / 40 / 30 → 70 / 50 / 30

  • Guardian Automata of Kukulkan

    • Heal per second: 40 → 60

    • Cast Time: 2s → 1.2s

    • Once regular matchmaking is available, parties of 4 or 5 will not be supported in matchmaking queues.

  • Spectator Slots in Custom Games Increased

    • The number of spectators allowed in Custom Games has been increased to 10.
