This update adds a commonly requested melee weapon along with a wave of QoL features. The new laser blade is a large T4 one-handed weapon whose laser blade can uniquely be turned off and on to control the cooling cost and speed boost from an empty hand.

A new repair cost mechanic has also been added for arms, legs and torsos to help ease the cost of supporting a durability oriented build. Certain parts will now cost as low as 40% of their original repair cost while certain sophisticated parts more aligned with preventing damage will cost up to 150% more.2.24.0

Major Features

  • Added the LS03 Light Ray, a T4 one-handed laser blade. The laser blade can be toggled off to remove the cooling cost and increase mobility as if the hand was empty.

  • Added a repair cost stat to arms, torsos and legs. Parts now vary in repair cost from 40% to 150%. Parts offering greater functionality tend to cost more to repair while simpler and durability oriented parts cost less. Repair cost is listed as a +/- modifier and parts with no modifier list no additional stats.

  • Added additional ammunition to munitions vendors based on the number of players. Each player beyond the first will add 1 50% ammo of each type. Every two players including the first will add 1 100% ammo of each type.

Minor Features

  • Added the ability to adjust the grip on weapons holdable in one or two hands from within the builder.

Fixes

  • Fixed the rest area camera centering on the wrong location after exiting the testing grounds.

  • Fixed the cost of certain torsos being too low.

  • Fixed Groundbreaker mechs rewarding credits when destroyed.

  • Fixed errors caused by equipping certain back mounted weapons on controller.

  • Fixed fake duplicate items appearing in the depot when an item is transferred into the extra hidden slots.

  • Fixed desync caused by adjusting the grip of a weapon in the testing grounds.

Instead of each weapon having its own ammo container, Granvirs now have a new two slot inventory called the munitions feed that all weapons will pull from when firing. The munitions feed can be expanded with certain torsos, certain tracks, a new series of back modules and a new series of special modules. The primary g…In-game event22 Aug 2026Update 2.45.0: Hip HolstersThis week's update introduces small holsters through 9 variants of existing legs now equipped with hip mounted holsters.
