Update 2.47.0: Ammo Feed Rework

Granvir: Zero Front · published 5 Sep 2026, 03:17 UTC · build 25134236

All newsPlayers around this dateRead on Steam

This week's update overhauls how ammo is provided to weapons on your Granvir. Instead of each weapon having its own ammo container, Granvirs now have a new two slot inventory called the munitions feed that all weapons will pull from when firing. The munitions feed can be expanded with certain torsos, certain tracks, a new series of back modules and a new series of special modules.

The primary goal of this rework is to simplify the inventory by removing the ammo slots that would come and go as weapons were added and removed. This should also remove the awkward incentive to carry around weapons you don't plan to use just to stockpile ammo and improve the parity between ranged and melee build's desire for supporting parts.

Please be aware that due to the removal of the weapon specific ammo containers, saves may load differently than they were made as the system is unable to find the container your ammo was in before. Saves should not break but if they do, I can manually fix the files if you are willing to share them through the official Discord.

2.47.0

Major Features

  • Removed the ammo inventories from all weapons and replaced it with the Munitions Feed, a 2 slot inventory that all weapons now pull their ammo from. Certain torsos, certain tracks, new special modules and new back modules can expand the size of the munitions feed.

  • Added the AF Internal Feed special modules, a series of special modules that increases munitions feed size and boosts reload speed.

  • Added the MF External Feed back modules, a series of back modules that can greatly increase munitions feed size.

Minor Features

  • Added a munitions feed expanding module that consistently appears at the munitions vendor.

  • Added a scroll bar to the inventory when it becomes too large to fit on screen.

  • Adjusted resistance support selections to follow the same storage behavior as other item selections.

  • Reduced the camera motion caused by melee attacks when there are more than two arms installed on the Granvirs.

In-game event12 Sep 2026Update 2.48.0: Ammo Feed VariantsThis week's update introduces 3 new munitions feed variants. Each variant only slightly expands the munitions feed but gives ranged builds new avenues to become more powerful. The Overloader Feed improves damage per shot at the cost of reload speed and ammo efficiency, ideal for builds that want to hit hard right away. The Turbo Feed allows you to boost your reload speed at the cost of heat gen…In-game event22 Aug 2026Update 2.45.0: Hip HolstersThis week's update introduces small holsters through 9 variants of existing legs now equipped with hip mounted holsters. Small weapons like pistols, axes and short swords can be stored in hip holsters. Holsters are also now capable of performing cross-body swaps so a back right holster can now exchange weapons with a left side armature. Cross body swapping is available through a new control opt…In-game event14 Aug 2026Update 2.44.0: Terrain Deformation, Fog of War Removal and Accuracy ReworkThis week's update brings terrain deformation to all campaigns and a handful of adjustments to fully support it. Most importantly, the default setting for Fog of War has been changed to off. Thanks to the hills created by terrain deformation, fog of war is no longer required to limit sight lines and engagement sizes. Weapons accuracy has also been changed to be mostly dependent on Granvir-wide…
