Demo Update – Version 0.20

Version 0.20 introduces several gameplay improvements, new content additions, and stability fixes across the demo. This update focuses on combat balance, UI improvements, new exploration mechanics, and resolving several progression and technical issues.


Gameplay

  • Health Kits now restore 30 HP

  • Batteries now restore 30 PP

  • Added Scanner ability in battle to display enemy stats

  • Added random defense variation to enemies during combat

  • Spaceman shield use now stuns enemy on the beginning of next turn

  • Fixed critical hit calculations for both player and enemies

  • Balanced moving platforms in the dungeon


New Content

  • Added additional Yokai entries to Yokanet

  • Added Secret Base hideout

  • Added Bonsai collecting mechanic

  • Added Memory_08

  • Added new battle encounter near the Airfield in the Lab area

  • Fixed music around Lab Area


UI & Quality of Life

  • Added money display to the shop buying HUD

  • Added prominent money display in the main menu

  • Added cutscene skip functionality

  • Added option to disable controller rumble


Audio

  • Adjusted sound effects to be less bright and less trebly


Fixes

  • Fixed terminal menu scaling on ultrawide monitors

  • Fixed meshes clipping into the camera in certain areas

  • Fixed battle button layout issues on different resolutions

  • Fixed attack button navigation bug in battle UI

  • Fixed colliders in inaccessible areas

  • Fixed player health dropping below 0 after fall damage in the dungeon
