Happy New Year from the entire team! 🎉
We hope you’re kicking off 2026 with fully charged batteries and smooth lines.

We’ve got a lot of exciting things planned for this year, and we can’t wait to start rolling them out.

For our very first update of 2026, we tackled something many of you asked for: improved camera noise. We’ve improved both the analog and digital degradation to make those visuals feel even better and more immersive.

Looking a bit further ahead, you can also expect Physics 6.0 to land in Liftoff: Micro Drones later in 2026, now available for testing in Liftoff: FPV Drone Racing. Curious to try it out or want to know more? Hop into our Discord and join the discussion!

We also want to take a moment to say a huge thank you to all of you. Your creativity and passion, especially through the track editor continue to make Liftoff: Micro Drones an amazing place to be. To show our appreciation, we’ve put together a compilation featuring some awesome community-created tracks.

And we’re not stopping there! Our roadmap includes an expansion of this idea with a drawing board–style environment, making it even easier (and more fun) to bring your creative ideas to life.

Thanks for flying with us—2026 is just getting started!
