Milestone 1.1.0 Has Arrived!

Pilots,

Today we’re rolling out Milestone 1.1.0, a major update focused on refining how microdrones behave in flight. This update brings a broad set of improvements to core flight simulation, alongside a leaderboard reset, new content, and several usability fixes.

Physics 6.0

This release introduces a significant overhaul of the underlying flight model. The goal has been to tighten up realism and bring component behaviour closer to real-world micro drone performance.

We’ve improved how drag is calculated, refined propeller aerodynamics, and updated internal motor and battery statistics to better reflect their actual performance characteristics. These changes affect overall handling, responsiveness, and efficiency across all setups.

As always, we’re keen to hear how this feels once you’ve had time in the air with it.

Leaderboard Reset

With Physics 6.0 now active, we’ve performed a soft reset of all leaderboards.

Scores from Physics 5.0 have been archived and removed from the active rankings to ensure a fair baseline under the new physics model. Nothing is lost—your previous runs can still be viewed by enabling the archive filter in the leaderboard menu.

Time to rebuild the rankings under the new system.

New Drone Blueprint

A new configuration blueprint has been added featuring the Whoopdfarkndo frame.

It’s available as a ready-to-fly reference setup or as a starting point for your own builds and experimentation.

Component Updates

Several internal parameters for the BetaFPV LAVA battery series have been updated to better align with their real-world performance profiles.

Drone Editor Improvements

We’ve made a set of improvements to the drone editor to streamline setup and reduce friction when configuring builds:

  • Default flight mode can now be selected directly in the Overview section.

  • Camera angle adjustment has been moved to the Frame section, and is now available where the selected frame supports it.

Fixes & Quality of Life

  • Fixed an issue where a popup could remain visible after sharing content to the Steam Workshop.

  • Removed the popup prompting to save drone configuration changes when exiting a flight session.

Thanks for all the feedback and testing that continues to shape these updates.
