The demo is out for Next Fest!

Hi everyone, the game demo is live as part of Next Fest! Windows players can jump straight in, I've added a DirectX11 version for legacy compatibility so give it a go and let me know how it runs if you're on a lower end system. Just keep in mind that Lumen should be turned off in the options for that version to get the best performance, you can also tweak the Resolution Scale in the game options to find the sweet spot for your system, and feel free to push it higher since the pixel art and low poly style means it won't hit the visual quality as hard.

For Steam Deck players, the build has been updated and is now running correctly, so if you were having issues before give it another shot, it should be good to go now!

Steam Deck players can also play it, you'll just need to enable Proton in the game properties first.
If you are on Steam Deck or Linux and the game does not show Windows launch options or it will not launch, set Proton for the game:

1. Open your Steam Library and select the game

2. Open Properties

3. Go to Compatibility

4. Enable Force the use of a specific Steam Play compatibility tool

5. Select Proton 9, Proton Hotfix or Proton Experimental

6. Close Properties and launch the game

7. Select Play Spaceman Memories Demo on Steam Deck

• Proton 9.0-4 (stable)

• Proton Experimental (also works)
