We're very excited to reveal some new, highly requested features and content coming to Tempest Rising in our next major update!
The most common feedback we've seen by far since launch has been players wanting to experience larger-scale matches; we're very happy to announce that 3v3 / 6-player matches are coming in next week's update! For the singleplayer crowd, we're also adding an Active Pause and Game Speed adjustment tool that will allow you to play at your own preferred pace in singleplayer modes. We've heard from both new and experienced players that they'd like to load into a map without any opponents. In this next update, we're adding a 'No Bot' sandbox functionality to Skirmish mode so players can more easily experiment with units, buildings, and factions. Back in June, we released a basic version of Spectator Mode. In our next update, we're releasing our Full Spectator Mode, which will include the ability to view all player stats, in-game chat for spectators, the option to follow a selected player's camera movement, and a Fog of War toggle. Stay tuned for the full breakdown of new content and updates in the patch notes next week when this update launches on Tuesday, September 9.
