Spire of Ash v1.1.7 (Build 97)

This update focuses on giving Auto-Run more control, correcting two combat balance issues, improving dungeon atmosphere, and polishing search, crafting, and performance across the board.

Auto-Run Queue Upgrades

  • Filter queued keys by key type and rarity so you can target exactly the runs you want.
  • Sort keys by level for easier queue planning.
  • Drag-to-reposition keys directly in the stash for faster queue setup.
  • If a key fails to load, Auto-Run now skips it and continues to the next key instead of stopping.
  • Auto-Run automatically quits to the summary screen once combat ends.
  • The between-run summary now stays on screen longer (10 s default, configurable up to 30 s).
  • Key filters are collapsible, and key tiles are larger for easier reading.

Combat Balance Fixes

  • Creeping Doom detonation now only hits enemies. Previously it could detonate on allied heroes.
  • Overload Charge now scales from the caster's HP instead of the target's HP and only damages hostile units. This prevents chain-reaction party wipes at high key levels.

Crafting: Lattice Orb Improvements

  • Lattice Orbs are now blocked when the item is already at maximum sockets.
  • A Lattice Orb will never reroll into the same socket count.
  • All socketed sigils are preserved when socket count changes.

Dungeon Lighting & Rendering

  • Each game mode now has its own dynamic light budget, so expeditions, boss rush, and regular dungeons each look distinct.
  • Expedition lighting has been rebalanced — fog density, bloom intensity, and ambient levels are tuned for better atmosphere.
  • Fixed a mirrored dungeon piece yaw issue that could cause visual seams.
  • Material light synchronization improvements reduce flickering when moving between dungeon rooms.

Localization & Search

  • Item search and the currency picker now search against localized text, so searching in Chinese and other languages works correctly.
  • The item regex filter now includes localized affix names in its results.

Performance & Stability

  • Cloud sync is now non-blocking — the app is usable immediately on startup instead of waiting for sync to complete.
  • Fixed a requestAnimationFrame stutter that could occur when opening tooltips or crafting panels.
  • Stash comparison and socket toggle responsiveness improvements.

UI Polish

  • Rarity outline silhouettes now appear on item icons for faster visual scanning.
  • Glyph picker sizing has been adjusted for better readability.

Thanks for playing.
