Long time no see! Don’t worry, there is something we’ve been preparing for you behind the scenes:
Yes, the first update to StarRupture’s Early Access is coming! It will feature new playable areas, new buildings, resources, wildlife, new story elements, corporation levels & some in-game mechanics reworks.
Update 1 will be released on Steam as a free Early Access expansion, and the official release date will be announced soon. Stay tuned!
UPDATE 1 CONTENT
Update 1 brings tons of brand-new content & in-game mechanics changes, including:
- Increased Map Size with New Unlockable Zones & Points of Interest
- 2 New Resources
- New Feature - Zipline
- New Feature - Development Station
- 6 New Higher Tier Buildings
- 9 New Buildings
- New Feature: Wildlife
- New Expanded Corporation Levels & Rewards
- New production pipelines with over 40+ new items and recipes
Update 1 will also include a multitude of fixes and improvements based on the feedback you have kindly provided us via our official support page, the Steam forum, and our official Reddit & Discord communities. Thank you!

PUBLIC TEST BRANCH!
StarRupture’s Early Access Update 1 is available RIGHT NOW in a pre-release build on the Public Test branch on Steam. Yes, you’re reading that right!
The Public Test Branch contains a work-in-progress build that may contain some game-breaking bugs and errors. But it will let you jump in RIGHT NOW to the newest unreleased content, features, and mechanics, which you can playtest, enjoy, and share your feedback on.
